The output and development of LED street light in China.
In China, the existing street lighting is 28-30 million pieces. In recent year, the annual increasing amount is 15-20%, about 3-6million pieces. If all the increased street light are LED street light, and each pieces price is 1000-2000RMB, the annual increase amount will be 30-60 hundred million RMB. The average failure rate for LED street light within in 6000hrs is under 1%, the maximum saved power for LED street light will be 85%. In December 2011, China has produced LED lighting products and fixtures 250 million sets, an increase of 12.45%. During January to December 2011, China has produced 2500 million sets LED lighting and fixtures, with an increase of 6.38%. In provincial point review, Zhejiang has produced 1070 million sets, increase of 9.13%, has taken 42.4% of the output of China LED lighting and fixtures. Guangdong has produced 870 million sets, decreased 4.44%, and taken 34.43% of total output of China lighting products. In China 2011, the LED market has increase to 5800 million USD, compared with 47000 million USD in 2010, increase of 23%. Now LED lighting already become an very important industry of Made in China part, this is also because of China government support. The predict says in 2015, China LED market will grow into 11100 million USD. In recent years, great change has taken place in China street lighting, more and more LED street lighting are widely used in almost all streets in China.
Thanks for the increasely financial support directly from the governments, at present 98% of China villages now have built up their own concrete roads, all roads are installed with LED street light or solar street lights. Every 5 years China launch new policys for different kinds of industry. Now more and more street and road in Town have been using LED street lights.
