What is the material for your LED heat sink? Any advantages for it?
Our heat sink are made from high purity aluminum alloy, with two item number, ADC 12 Zinc alloy, 6030T and 1070 high purity aluminum alloy. The advantages are: high heat dissipation, strong in structure, easy in forming/shaping.
ADC 12 Aluminum alloy is used to produce die-casting heat sink, largely used in LED street light, flood light and some domestic down light, panel light.
6030T is always used to produce extrusion aluminum alloy.
1070 is always used to produce multi-cooling fin design heat sink
1070 aluminum alloy is the best one, 6060T is better than ADC 12 aluminum alloy.
To better enhance heat dissipation, we alway add copper heat pipe, to make the heat dissipation more efficient.
To reduce the LED chips temperature is by heat dissipation for the housing, the lower temperature, the less light decline for the LED chips, with much longer lifespan.
What is the temperature for your LED street light products?
According the actual testing, the temperature for our heat sink is under 50℃.
What are the main way for heat transmission
There are mainly 3 way for heat transmission:a. Heat transmission, b. Heat radiation. C. Heat convection. The most important and main way for LED lighting product heat dissipation is heat transmission.
What is the material for your LED street light optical lens? Any advantages?
There are lots of materials can be used for optical purpose, for LED street light, we are using pyrex glass for optical purpose. It allow 97% light transmission through, no light loose, endure -50-200℃. Compared with PMMA or PC, pyrex glass can work under extreme climate, and PMMA will become yellowish after expose in high temperature. Also Pyrex is hard to have dust on it than PMMA or PC. PMMA is fragile in cold area.
The fastner for LED street lights?
All our street light, flood light, high bay light are using 304 stainless steel fasterner, screws, never rust or corrosion, can be used in coastal, high temperature area or countries.
